Three Employees Were Injured ...

February 11, 2008 (by Otto Smyth) According to reports three employees of the Southern California Gas Company were injured on Saturday when a piece of machinery fell.

In Goleta at the 1100 block of More Ranch Road the injured employees were doing maintenance work, this is when an industrial lifting machine fell injuring all three of them.

There is no report on the extent of the injuries of any of the three employees as of this time with the exception that all three were transported to the hospital.

The three employees were transported to Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara and it has been reported they spent the night at the hospital recovering, however it has not been reported at this time how long the three will be hospitalized or if they have been released.

There has been no report how the accident occurred and what organizations are investigating the accident. There has also been no report of what safety measures and regulations were in place at the maintenance site at the time the accident occurred.
