Freeway Accident Injures Two Women and Alleged DUI Driver

There has been reports of an accident that occurred on the 22 Freeway when a Mercedes Benz became disabled on the freeway.

In a Monday evening crash that occurred at approximately 10:45 pm when a 1995 Mercedes Benz Reyna Poblanu was driving in the eastbound lanes in the vicinity of the City Drive exit came to a stop, as the women were exiting the vehicle it was stuck by a by another vehicle. Both women in the vehicle were injured, the driver Poblanu sustained moderate injuries and her passenger who has been identified as Felicia Aldapa sustained major injuries.

The other vehicle a 2007 Toyota that was driven by Dong Kim who was also injured and later charged with suspicion of driving under the influence according to California Highway Patrol spokesperson Denise Quesada.

The three accident victims were transported to the UCI Medical Center for treatment for their injuries.
