Sandra Bullock and the Drunk Driver

It has been reported that in a Friday evening accident that involved a car that Sandra Bullock and husband Jesse James were in being chauffeured to where they were staying in Gloucester Massachusetts was hit head on.

This accident occurred when a Subaru station wagon driven by a 64 year old woman who was identified as Lucille Gatchell struck the vehicle that Bullock and James were riding in at approximately 9:50 pm. when the driver of the Subaru switched lanes.

Gatchell was later arrested after failing a sobriety test and the results of this test placed her two and one half times over the legal limit according to reports.

Gatchell was arraigned Tuesday April 22nd of driving under the influence and marked lanes violations in the Massachusetts District Court and through her attorney Benjamin Richard she pleaded not guilty. At this hearing she was given a June 6th court date.

It was also reported that she thanked the couple for checking to see that she was all right after the accident and was glad that no one had been injured in the accident.
