Famous Actor Arrested for Possesion During DUI Traffic Stop

It has been reported by Los Angeles drunk driving attorneys that Gary Dourdan an actor of the popular show CSI was arrested Wednesday with three felony counts of drug possession.

April 28th Dourdan was arrested in Palm Springs when he was in a car parked on the wrong side of the road and found sleeping. According to police statements he was disoriented and after a search of his car several drugs were found; heroin, cocaine and ecstasy as well as other prescription medications and drug paraphernalia.

At the time of the stop Dourdan was booked and jailed and later released on $5,000 bail, and scheduled to appear on May 28th for arraignment.

It has been reported that the Riverside County District Attorney spokesperson stated that with Proposition 36 if Dourdan if convicted might avoid jail time if he completes a drug diversion program.

Dourdan has been reported as saying that he had attended the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and in order to avoid a DUI he had pulled over and he has also said that the luggage where the drugs were found were not his and testing is proving this.
