According to the Redlands police department, the tragic incident happened early in the morning on Thursday when Juan Pablo was struck by a vehicle near 5th Avenue and Marion Road.

The authorities are still investigating the Redlands crash to determine what caused the driver to hit and kill Juan Salzar.
